Welcome to Arigato! This document outlines our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use. By downloading, accessing, or using the Arigato mobile application (the "App"), you explicitly agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must immediately uninstall and cease using the App.

1. Age Restrictions

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 years old depending on your jurisdiction, such as within the EU) to use Arigato. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under these ages. If we become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, we will take immediate steps to delete such information and terminate the account.

2. Information We Collect

To provide our services, we collect the following data:

• Personal Data: Username, birth year, gender, and language preferences.
• User-Generated Content (UGC): Information, texts, audio messages, profile pictures, and gallery images you upload, send, or display on the App. Media sent in chats or set as profile pictures are stored securely on our servers to provide the messaging service.
• Device Data: Mobile device ID, model, and manufacturer, strictly used to ban malicious devices and enforce community guidelines.
• Push Notification Data: Access to your device's push notification token to send updates regarding chat messages.

3. Developer Liability & User-Generated Content (UGC)

Arigato acts solely as an intermediary platform. We strictly disclaim all liability for any content posted, transmitted, or shared by users.

• No Endorsement: We do not endorse, support, or guarantee the accuracy, truthfulness, or reliability of any UGC or communications between users.
• User Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you share (texts, images, voice notes). You agree NOT to post illegal, offensive, explicit, defamatory, or copyright-infringing material.
• No Liability for Harm: The developer of Arigato shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, emotional, physical, or financial harm resulting from interactions with other users on the platform.

4. Child Safety & Zero Tolerance Policy

To ensure a safe environment for all users, we implement the following standards:

• Immediate Removal: Any content involving child exploitation will be removed immediately upon detection or reporting.
• Account Termination: Any user involved in sharing or creating such content will be permanently banned, including a hardware-level Device ID ban.
• Reporting to Authorities: In compliance with global laws, Arigato will report any instances of CSAM to the relevant authorities, such as NCMEC or local law enforcement agencies.
• Moderation: We use manual and automated tools to identify and remove harmful content. Reports from users are reviewed by our moderation team within 24 hours.

5. Moderation & Law Enforcement Cooperation

While we do not actively monitor all private communications, we enforce a strict zero-tolerance policy against abusive behavior:

• We provide in-app tools for users to block and report inappropriate content or abusive users.
• We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to review reported content, terminate accounts, and permanently ban Device IDs without prior notice.
• Law Enforcement: We will fully cooperate with valid legal requests and law enforcement agencies. We reserve the right to disclose any user information, IP addresses, or UGC if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety of any person.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties & Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an "AS-IS" and "AS-AVAILABLE" basis.

• We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or entirely secure.
• In no event shall Arigato, its developers, or affiliates be liable to you or any third party for any consequential, incidental, direct, or indirect damages, including lost data, arising from your use of the App.

7. Security of Your Information

We use reasonable technical and physical security measures to protect your information. However, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and no method of data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed against any interception.
